Let it snow let it snow let it snowS

Looks like a scene from Les Miserables, my neighbors below me

I am in love with the snow, peeking down my street to view it!
London Bridge in all it's glory

After spending a much needed break back home in sunny Florida for Christmas and New Year's, I am now back in the arctic of London. I really never thought I would enjoy the cold so much! The cold can be lovely when beautiful snow is involved! Also, it doesn't hurt to have fashionable and properly functional winter clothes to keep me warm and cozy :)

Being a native Floridian, I can count on my two hands the number of times in my life that I have seen snow. Of those few times, only once had I seen snowflakes flutter down from the sky... until this week! It has now snowed consecutively for the past three days. This is not scary blizzard like snow, and I have no fear of being snowed in and stranded in my flat. This snow looks like it belongs in a snow globe. Tiny, lightweight snowflakes have been slowly dropping to the icy ground from the sky up above. I could honestly stare out my window for an hour, just to view this fascinating weather phenomenon! I hope that this continues!

Recently, I have had many projects to keep myself busy. Besides working full time for my internship, I have been taking the time to learn Spanish through my Rosetta Stone course. So far, I think it is going muy bien! We will see how the learning process goes...it is not over till the fat lady sings, and hopefully  she will be singing a tune in Spanish!

In addition to my Spanish, I have been working on writing my first novel. For those who are unaware of my literary endeavor, my book is a modern version sequel to the classic novel The Portrait of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde. It is still in the early stages, but I have two chapters completed now. Let me know if you would like me to send you these for your reading entertainment!

I have also been working on startup of my own. All of my exposure to the techie world of startups, website creations, and iPhone app engineering has inspired me to jump on the entrepreneurial bandwagon! More to come soon on this recent development, after I have you all sign NDA's, of course. ;)

As you can tell, I have been quite a busy bee...but I am dedicated to keeping this blog as updated as I can! Hopefully my next blog post won't be about my experience on getting deported from the UK, although that would make for good writing material. Keep your fingers crossed that I will be able to extend my British working experience. That's all for now...ciao!
